Steve Ross is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a clinical focus in family and musculoskeletal medicine. He completed his NP education at the University of Ottawa in 2025 where he developed a strong interest in clinical procedures. During this time, he trained under the mentorship of Dr. Adrienne Junek at Integrate, refining his skills in musculoskeletal assessment and the treatment of myofascial pain using trigger point injections.
Steve joined the Integrate team soon after graduation. In 2026, he completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program through McMaster University's Department of Anesthesia, with training focused on the neurofunctional treatment of pain with movement dysfunction.
His approach to care follows the Three R's: Release, Restore, Rebuild. Painful or restricted areas are first released to restore comfortable movement. From there, patients have access to Integrate's high-quality physiotherapy to rebuild strength, improve function, and reduce the risk of future injury. Steve is committed to working collaboratively with patients who are motivated to regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that bring joy to their lives—whether that's returning to their favourite sports, gardening, or playing with their children or grandchildren.
Steve provides comprehensive assessments, imaging requisitions, prescriptions, injection therapy, and medical acupuncture. He also offers private assessments for individuals seeking expedited access to care for pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
Outside of work, Steve can be found spending time with his family, savouring a well-made cup of coffee, and poring over maps to plan his next fishing or camping trip. He loves to combine his love of nature and movement through swimming, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
