Steve Ross is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience working in family and musculoskeletal medicine. He completed his NP education at the University of Ottawa in 2025 where he developed a strong interest in clinical procedures.

Steve’s appreciation for treating musculoskeletal pain began years earlier while volunteering at a family health team in northern Ontario, an experience that sparked his interest in corticosteroid injections as an approach to pain management. Fast forward to 2025, when Steve completed an elective under the mentorship of Dr. Adrienne Junek at Integrate, where he refined his skills in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment of myofascial pain with trigger point injections.

Steve joined the Integrate team soon after graduation, and provides comprehensive assessment, imaging requisitions, prescriptions and injection treatment to individuals experiencing pain and movement limitations. He is committed to working collaboratively with patients who are motivated to regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that bring joy to their lives—whether that’s returning to their favourite sports or playing with their children/grandchildren.

Outside of work, Steve can be found spending time with his family, savouring a well-made cup of coffee, and poring over maps to plan his next fishing or camping trip. He loves to combine his love of nature and movement through swimming, trail running, and cross-country skiing.
