The Prenatal PhysioYoga program is designed to nurture and support you through pregnancy and prepare your body and mind for labour and birthing. The classes integrate postural awareness, breath work, mindful movement, connection to your core stability muscles, and restorative poses.
These classes are beneficial and safe for:
any point during pregnancy (1st to 3rd trimester)
those with pelvic health, abdominal wall or musculoskeletal concerns, including but not limited to: diastasis rectus, SI joint pain, pubic bone pain, low back pain, carpal tunnel, sciatica, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, varicose veins...
those who would like to maintain strength and mobility throughout pregnancy to promote wellness and prepare for postpartum recovery
Created and taught by Shelagh Haynes, pelvic health physiotherapist and certified yoga instructor, these evidence-based 60 min classes are knowingly designed to progress you week by week over the 8 class series. Class sizes are kept small to allow to allow for more individualized care.
