Medical services at Integrate are focused exclusively on the care of musculoskeletal pain and/or injuries. Our physicians provide musculoskeletal-related medical care for both NEW patients as well as current patients at Integrate. Physicians working at Integrate also offer trigger point injection therapy as well as neurofunctional medical acupuncture. Visits may be booked by appointment or on a walk-in basis, physician referrals are also accepted.
WHO CAN BOOK? – We see patients (either walk-in or by appointment) who:
Are any age
Have acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain or injury
Are experiencing functional difficulties (unable to participate in sport/exercise, household or workplace activities)
May be having difficulty getting in to see their regular doctor for musculoskeletal assessment, or want to avoid potential exposure to illness at emergency rooms or walk-in clinics
Are interested in trigger point injections or neurofunctional medical acupuncture
Are seeking optimization of sport/athletic performance
DR JUNEK WILL NOT BE ADDRESSING ILLNESS SUCH AS COLD & FLU OR LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES AT INTEGRATE HEALTHCARE COLLECTIVE. PLEASE PRESENT YOURSELF TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, A URGENT CARE CLINIC OR YOUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN. NO OPIOIDS WILL BE PRESCRIBED AT OUR OFFICE.
Dr. Adrienne Junek completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto and her residency in family medicine at the University of Ottawa. Since completing her studies she has worked primarily in rural emergency medicine as well as various walk-in clinics. Dr. Junek also has a passion for integrative medicine, which blends complementary and alternative health care approaches with conventional medical care. She has completed a fellowship in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona, teaches integrative medicine at the University of Ottawa medical school and works as an integrative medicine consultant.
Dr. Junek enjoys hiking and cycling as well as ultimate frisbee and yoga, however, she’s currently focused on time at home with her family and is currently raising two young boys with her husband.
