Is this covered by my insurance?
Most extended health care plans will cover Registered Massage Therapy treatments with a prescription.
For specific amounts including yearly maximum, percentage covered per visit and maximum hourly rate, consult your individual insurance company.
Do I need a Doctors note?
You do not need a doctors note to receive treatment, however some insurance companies require a prescription in order to assign benefits for treatment.
Will I be sore afterward?
You may experience some soreness in the treatment area after a massage. It is important to communicate openly with your therapist if you are experiencing discomfort during your treatment and also how you felt after the last treatment.
Do I have to undress?
No, you never have to undress more of yourself than you are comfortable with. Your therapist will discuss with you during your initial appointment which areas are necessary to access for treatment as well as draping techniques they will utilize.
Do I need to leave a tip?
Unlike the spa environment this is a medical clinic and leaving a tip is not expected.
