Joanna embarked on her studies at the University of Ottawa, first completing her Bachelor of Science specializing in Physiology, and then moving on to graduate from the Masters of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy program in 2015. Having always studied in French, Joanna is happy to provide treatments in both official languages of Canada.
Joanna experienced the benefits of physiotherapy and the importance of participating actively in your recovery for herself when she injured her hand playing football during her studies. As such, she greatly encourages her patients to be involved in their health journey by emphasizing open communication, education and rehabilitative exercises. This empowers patients on their road to recovery. Knowing that getting to the clinic can be difficult for some patients, Joanna also offers home care treatments in the downtown core.
