Dr. Jessica Coady completed her undergraduate studies and research at the University of Guelph, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics (the study of human movement) & nutrition. Following her Bachelor degree, she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During her years of study, Jessica expanded her clinical experience working as a kinesiologist, and also as a sideline first responder in both the junior hockey and Ontario rugby circuits.
Dr. Coady has always had a passion for human movement- she believes that all patients should have an active component of their care to truly recover and return to their desired activities. She has passionately continued her education by completing extended training in Functional Integrative Acupuncture, Functional Range Release, instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, and many other courses relating to functional movement and sport specific patterning. She also believes in the importance of education and understanding a system, problem or pain, to feel more empowered to recover and thrive. "My goal is to put you in the driver's seat of your care, I'm here as your navigation system and co-pilot."
Outside of clinic, Jessica can be found feeding her natural curiosity for learning by reading an assortment of literature, books and listening to podcasts. She can often be found outdoors hiking, skiing, playing soccer and finding new ways to be active with her fur companion Chase.
