Kelsey Drew started her physiotherapy journey in Halifax, NS where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. It was here that Kelsey fostered her strong interest in anatomy and biomechanics, leading her to pursue a Masters in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON.
Kelsey has had enriching and fulfilling clinical experiences, in which she has had the opportunity to witness the effect of different therapeutic approaches on patient satisfaction and recovery. These experiences reinforced her belief that client care and treatment is a collaborative practice between the client and the health care team. Kelsey aims to work with her clients in a way that emphasizes individualized, direct-hands on care, and education.
As a firm believer in evidence-based practice, Kelsey ensures that the treatments she provides are both safe and effective for patients. Since graduating, Kelsey has taken courses on soft tissue release, Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), Functional Dry Needling, and Pelvic Health. She is also trained in instrument assisted soft tissue release techniques and the use of Shockwave Therapy.
