Desiree Koggel is a multifaceted part of the Integrate team as she works both as a practitioner and as an administrative personnel. She graduated from Sheridan College with a High Honours Bachelors in Athletic Therapy in 2018. She has taken continuing education courses on the knee, hip, Muscle energy techniques, and other orthopaedic and rehabilitative topics. She has a special interest in injury preventative techniques and would like to pursue a Masters in injury epidemiology.
Desiree recently moved to Ottawa from the GTA. She has spent the last two years in a clinical setting working closely with orthopaedic surgeon’s patient’s, particularly post-op ACL, THR, TKR, and knee scopes. She also worked with AAA hockey, rugby Ontario, and club rugby teams on top of her clinical practice. She encourages and drives patient’s to be an active part of their recovery by educating and correcting bad habits and faulty movement patterns. Desiree has a passion for helping people to succeed, as does everyone at Integrate, which makes being a part of this team so exciting!
